Mind Your Language L4 S4 ARTES 2023

Hello everyone, in today's post you will be thinking about your future and dreams, if you have any, at least in terms of possible jobs. To be more specific you will be telling us what your dream job is. In my personal situation, it is kind of difficult to talk about this, for two reasons. First, I'm no longer studying, I'm already part of the job world -like it or not-. And second, well, I don't think I actually have a dream job. Nonetheless, I still need to write something here.  I don't know if this is the last job I'm going to have, I don't really care that much. Though I've found myself enjoying teaching more than I expected at the beginning, I also used to enjoy doing research quite a lot, and working mainly with Anthropological Linguistics and language policy.  I used to have plans of doing a PhD, but I don't think I want that anymore.   In today's blog, you've got two choices, you can either talk about your best holidays (or some holidays that you really enjoyed), or your best concert ever. Personally, I don't go to concerts, as I don't enjoy crowds so I prefer enjoying music on my own in a comfortable context. In that case, I'll talk about one of best holidays I remember (mostly for the unique experience). Back in summer 2010, my mother and me went to Russia and Estonia for a whole month (it was winter there). It was a special trip for me as it allowed me to meet the place where I was born and lived the first years of my life, and also get to know new places, landscapes, cultures, and some of the people who knew me in my early childhood. The whole trip could be divided in four different parts: Moscow, St. Petersburg (Leningrad), Sillamäe and Tallin (and Helsinki -capital city of Finland- for a single day).
